From June, mother quokkas begin to carry their young in their pouches which become visibly heavier as the season progresses. In August you may start to spot the tiny joeys peeking out, preparing to take their first hops into the world. After last yearโs loss Rex had to recover physically (& emotionally) with a well earnt R&R session on Rottnest Island. This year Rex is back to knock Wilbur the Wildcat off the top spot and take home the trophy for himself! We think heโs ready, what do you reckon? ๐
