Express is the largest, fastest and most experienced
ferry operator servicing Rottnest Island.
Established in 1994, Rottnest Express purchased
the former Boat Torque Cruise (BTC) operations
in 2002. Inheriting BTC’s heritage back to 1958,
Rottnest Express quickly established itself
as the market leader servicing Rottnest Island.
Operating daily, year-round services, Rottnest
Express has the dominant share of the Rottnest
Island market carrying over 60% of all visitors
to the Island.
Bailey Marine Fuels Australia (BMFA), a well
established, Western Australian owned, national
fuel distributor purchased the company in June
2007. Building on the past strengths of Rottnest
Express, BMFA plan to develop this product to
its full potential. Included in this vision
is a complete refurbishment and upgrade to all
vessels, buses and terminals.
Rottnest Express have three conveniently located
terminals situated at:
• Perth (Barrack Street jetty)
• Fremantle (C Shed)
