Rottnest Express currently departs from three conveniently located terminals. Each has different benefits to offer - so choose a departure point to suit your needs.

B Shed - Fremantle

For day-trippers and passengers living south of the Swan River, B-Shed offers a convenient departure point for Rottnest. It’s an easy stroll from Fremantle train station and you’ll get to see the hustle and bustle of a working port in action.

Northport - Rous Head Harbour, North Fremantle

Northport is a well guarded secret by local holiday makers who know that it offers a convenience like no other terminal. With over 400 secure car parking bays available within the ferry terminal grounds at a very reasonable daily rate, passengers can enjoy the convenience of driving right up to the terminal to drop off luggage and bikes before parking at the doorstep! Northport also has a fully licensed kiosk so passengers can enjoy a refreshing drink before departure.

Barrack Street Jetty - Perth City

For tourists our daily morning departures from Barrack Street Jetty provide an added benefit - a picturesque cruise along the majestic Swan River with commentary from our experienced hosts. Sit back in luxury and enjoy the view as you travel to Fremantle for your departure to Rottnest. You’ll avoid peak hour traffic and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee along the way (if travelling on one of our value packages). Barrack Street Jetty is a tourist information hub and our friendly staff are trained to assist you make the most of your visit to Rottnest and indeed Perth.
